Emerging artist Vincent T. Callahan combines his love of the American frontier and the aesthetic movement to create unique and functional art pieces of hand-wrought copper and sterling silver. He incorporates ancient Native American artifacts, period U.S. coins, found objects, and cast sterling, gold, and bronze elements applied to bases of wood, petrified woods, and stone.
Vince is making exquisitely hand-crafted mirrors, candlesticks, tableware, clocks, desk implements, barware, furniture, boxes, frames and jewelry. He also frames period art to create entirely new perceptions. "I enjoy joining forces with others to design special pieces fitting their needs."
Vince's studio is in New York in the Hudson River Valley. Look for the "VTC Verbank" stamp to identify his work.
